How Switch Clip uses Google and YouTube data

Switch Clip uses YouTube API Services. Signing in with Google only gives us your name, email address and profile picture to create your account.

If you choose to connect your YouTube channel, we request the youtube.upload permission only at that moment, and use it solely to upload the clip you exported to your own channel with the title, description and CC BY attribution you see on screen. We do not read your videos, subscribers, comments or analytics.
Data received from Google APIs is never sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to train AI models. Our use complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can disconnect on the Connections page at any time (we revoke and delete the token) or at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
