We only use videos whose creators chose the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license on YouTube. CC BY allows editing and commercial use as long as you credit the creator.

Every Short includes an on-screen credit, and the description we generate includes the source link. Keep both when you upload.

CC BY covers the uploader's rights only. Music, broadcast clips or other third-party content inside a video may still be claimed โ check before monetizing.

YouTube's "reused content" policy can limit monetization of lightly edited clips. Our hook titles, captions and translation add transformation, but your own commentary or edits help most.
